This guide explains how to install two of the 2006 Marzocchi 888 RC2X cartridge into any year Marzocchi Shiver DC Fork 

 

So getting started we are going to have to examine your Shiver DC before even starting the attempt of doing the RC2X mod, since if your stanchions and seals need replaced it's best to locate the necessary parts to do a complete job and have the system running fresh and new right from the start, instead of dealing with oil leak problems or something worse.

 

Once you have checked through your Shiver DC to make sure everything is in perfect working order, order in all the neccessary parts needed from the RC2X-Ti parts list, once you have all your parts use the users service manual to tear down your Shiver completely and clean everything of old oil residue if needed flush the tubes to have them fresh and clean.
